Or, you may find this book disappointing and too general.
In my opinion, this book falls short in terms of specific how-to advice, but I made lots of surprising discoveries about men and how they think. The narcissistic aspects were a real wake-up call.
Those insights can be very helpful if you’re able to wrap your brain around what this means and how to deal with it.
If men completely baffle you, and you want someone to give you specific “do this, then that, then that…” advice, this is still a good book to read, but it won’t deliver everything that you need.
One area where this book shines is in the author’s advice about online dating. He has some fascinating attitudes about this, from a man’s point of view.

All in all, if you learn just one new thing that prevents you from having another very bad “Mr. Wrong” date, I think this book is worth buying. After all, it’s cheaper than what you’d pay if that obnoxious date — who orders filet mignon — insists on splitting the dinner bill with you.

If I’m So Wonderful, Why Am I Still Single?
If you’re so wonderful, why are you still single?
That’s the question the author of this book tries to answer. People either love or hate her answers.
I’m on the fence about this book.
In some cases, her advice seems outdated. Compared with more recent advice, Ms. Page’s advice may even scare good men away.
For example, she encourages people to open up from the start, sharing as much as possible in those critical first two hours.
My opinion? It all depends on the situation, and the kinds of information you’re sharing. That’s more about the words you’re each using — and your attitudes — than breaking down barriers to a relationship.
In general, I’d be more guarded than what she seems to suggest.
On the other hand, I like this book because it’s an early “tough love” approach.
The author steers you firmly away from “better than being alone” relationships which not only damage you, but waste time while you could be finding Mr. Right.
This 2002 book may be exactly what you’re looking for, or… it may not be a good match for you.
I wouldn’t recommend this book as your only dating guide. However, it might be a good supplementary book. And, let’s face it: Every extra insight can help.

If you don’t read this book, chances are: You won’t have a clue why your sweetheart is turning into Bridezilla.
This book earns lots of five-star ratings at Amazon for a reason.
I could go on & on, but you get the idea: Whether you’re the groom or you know someone who’s going to be a groom, this book is a must-own.
Save yourself lots of arguments.
Buy it. Take notes in the margin. Re-read it regularly, all the way up to the wedding.

Can anyone really fall in love in 90 minutes or less? I’m not sure about that. However, I am sure about this book.
My advice: Don’t make Bridget Jones’s mistakes! Fall for the right guy from the start — and find true, lasting love with him — by following the advice in this book.
I like this book. I like it a lot.
Nicholas Boothman gets right to the point. He shares the four things you and Mr. Right might be looking for. And, once you know which of those four is most important to you (and to Mr. Right), you’ll know whether he’s the right man for you.
The author explains the basics in this interview, but you’ll need the book to understand what the cues are and how to work with them.
Despite the book’s title, it won’t actually take you 90 minutes to know if the guy is a dream-come-true or a dud. Following the tips in this book, you’ll know in the first few minutes if this relationship is right for you.

The Flirting Bible: Your Ultimate Photo Guide
If you already know how to flirt, you don’t need The Flirting Bible.
However, you might want to read it anyway, to better understand what you’re doing right or could do better.
This book is a winner if you want to understand the subtle cues of body language. Use them to increase how attractive you are to men, and to spot warnings (and encouragement) from the men you’re near.
However, if you’re looking for a textbook on what to say and how to say it (phrasing, tone of voice, etc.), you may be disappointed with this book. (I’d also suggest that you might reconsider the essence of flirting. It’s at least 80% body language.)
Here’s a video of author Fran Greene giving flirting advice to Joan Rivers. It’s a funny interview, and the hair and the shoulder pads suggest this is fairly old video.
Nevertheless, flirting is timeless. Some of these tips are really good.
